These two day courses introduce management professionals to the basics of project management, and open the door to further studies and potential certification as Project Management Professionals.

RII has successfully partnered with the Tidewater Community College Workforce Development Board to offer a 35 hour PMP® Prep courses to transitioning professionals from the US Joint Forces Command. These courses are open to the public and applications being accepted now. The Project Management Professional® Examination course is a 35-hour, intensive training program based on The Project Management Institute, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide) – Fourth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2008. This course employs unique study strategies to teach students the fundamentals of the project management discipline as defined in the PMBOK® Guide and translate that learning into student success on the Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification exams.
